Surgery
We perform a large range of surgical procedures including
Surgery is performed at our Chapel Street clinic in Newport. Each pet will be treated as though it is our own and we will make use of advanced monitoring equipment to make sure they are well cared for during their stay with us.
If what is required is beyond the scope of what we can offer we will discuss a referral with you.
Investigations and Diagnostics
We will never recommend an extra test just because we can and are always mindful of the cost/benefit of any test or treatment option. While further investigation or testing is sometimes necessary to work out the best course of action, you can rest assured we are not working to targets or being pressured to do so many X-rays a week etc. Our priority is always to work out and discuss the most appropriate treatment options for the individual patient and client.
Saying Goodbye
We offer End of Life care at home because we believe that in many situations it offers the best environment for all concerned.
We understand that making the decision of when to say goodbye will, for many people, be one of the hardest decisions they ever have to make. Our dedicated team has many years of experience of providing palliative care and will assess each and every patient so they can guide you. No two pets, nor situations are the same. The welfare of our patients and their owners is always at the heart of everything we do.
If your pet needs to be put to sleep you will be able to say goodbye in their familiar home surroundings, ensuring calm and privacy. We will make sure nothing is rushed and all questions are answered. We consider it a privilege to be able to serve our patients in this way.
We can arrange for the body to be transported to one of the independent island pet crematoriums.
