We listened when you said you wanted us to care for your pets. We heard what you had to say about pricing and fairness. We know you value home visits. We accept you want to see a vet you know and trust. We agree that you want to be able to easily park when you visit. We heard that many of you felt you had limited choice as to where you could go. So we are giving you another choice and this is what we offer:-
- Experienced vets that you can trust to be honest, open, and friendly. The two founding vet directors John and Emily Knight have served the pet population on the Island for the last 10 years but always working for someone else. Having qualified in 2006 and 2008 and working in practice since then, we know we have a wealth of experience to draw on when it comes to working out what is making your dog or cat feel less than 100%. We look forward to planning with you how to keep them in the best possible health.
- A friendly team of vets, registered veterinary nurses and receptionists who have dedicated their working lives to looking after animals here on the Isle of Wight. Between us, we have over 40 years of experience!! Working this out we all felt a little old, but as they say “There is no substitute for experience”!
- Ample car parking (205 spaces) in the large Chapel Street council car park which is immediately opposite the clinic. There is also currently free parking for 1hr- don’t forget to collect your ticket from the machine.
- There is no one-size-fits-all vet care. Each client and patient is unique and we will always work with you to ensure you understand your pet’s condition, the potential treatment options, costs, and likely outcome. Only then will you be informed to make the best decision.
- We promise we will always be honest with you.
- We believe excellent veterinary medicine requires a nuanced approach- where every pet is valued and treatment tailored individually, according to their need and situation.
This is the first time we have had the freedom to work in the way we want and we are so excited about our vision: Combining a modern innovative practice with the traditional values clients know and expect from their vet.
